Claudia is an electrical engineer and works in the Electrical Department, which is primarily responsible for connecting ABO Energy wind and solar farms to the grid. Over the past six years, she has worked as a Team Manager — first for the Latin America and Spain Team, and now for the Design Team. The teams mainly consist of electrical engineers from different parts of the world, but all pursue the same goal: enabling the connection of wind and solar parks, as well as batteries, in compliance with all grid requirements.

What do you appreciate most about your work at ABO Energy?
Working at ABO Energy is very dynamic, and we are constantly developing different strategies to maintain a high level of expertise while also becoming more efficient. Human and technical talents are continuously recognized as essential to the company's success.
Can you share an exciting project you’ve worked on?
Last year, our electrical team supported the entire construction process of a 50 MW solar park in Spain and two 9.9 MW solar parks in Colombia: the same technology, even the same language, and yet we faced different country-specific challenges — from logistical issues and climate conditions to local technical requirements. But thanks to good teamwork and the implementation of feasible technical solutions, we showed that we are ready to further establish ourselves on an international level.
