Assistant Administration (all genders)
At ABO Energy Canada, we're dedicated to shaping a sustainable future through renewable energy. You'll be part of a collaborative and diverse team focused on the transformative power of wind, solar, storage and hydrogen projects. As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll provide support in a workplace driven by innovation and a shared vision for a cleaner future.
Your passion
- You manage and execute general administrative tasks for the Calgary office such as procuring office supplies, expenses, maintaining office organization, and liaising with building management
- You take on ad hoc projects such as insurance administration, documenting policies, and organizing filings
- You enjoy to “hold the line” at the office and act as the first point of contact for ABO Canada’s phone line
- You manage the organization and filing of documents, such as internal/external reports, insurance, and annual filings
- You support development and implementation of internal team processes
- You prepare documents for meetings and business trips, including expense reporting support and booking travel arrangements
- You process and direct incoming packages or deliveries and prepare documents for project mail outs
- You collect documentation from new hires, set up employee profiles, and procure equipment in cooperation with IT
- You take care of documentation, insurance, scheduled maintenance, washing, and repairs of company vehicles
- You assist the Accounting and Project Team departments with organizing the paperwork such as: scanning, filing, saving the digital copies on the company records
Your qualification
- You have 2–5-years of experience in managing diverse tasks and working as part of an interdisciplinary team
- You have strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and projects concurrently
- Your experience in the electricity, energy development, or renewables industry would considered a strong asset
- You are fluent in English, French or German would be considered an asset
- You are capable of technical editing or have experience with formatting letters and documents
- Your dedication and enthusiasm towards renewable energy considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook )
- You have the ability to perform interdisciplinary work, solving problems and manage priorities, working independently and as part of an international team
