How can I apply?
The best way to apply is directly via our online application form – you will find it at the bottom of each job listing. Simply fill it out, upload your documents, and hit send – it only takes a few minutes.

What documents should I include?
To help us get a good impression of you, we would appreciate your CV, relevant references, and a short cover letter. If you have work samples – feel free to include those too!
If the position requires it – especially for students and early-career applicants – we would also like to see your most recent school or degree certificates to get a more complete picture of your background.
You can upload your documents by clicking the paperclip icon. You can also upload multiple files at once in a single field.
How long does the application process take?
It depends slightly on the role, but we usually get back to you within two weeks. We want to make sure you are not left waiting – and we will keep you informed transparently throughout each step.

Can I apply for multiple positions at once?
Absolutely – if you are interested in several roles or bring strengths in different areas, we welcome multiple applications. Just mention briefly in your cover letter what appeals to you about each position. We will provide individual feedback for each application.
I don’t meet all the requirements – should I still apply?
Yes, definitely! Our requirements are a guideline for the skills we are looking for – they are not a checklist you need to tick off completely. If you’re motivated, excited about the role, and think you would be a great fit, we would love to hear from you!
Do I need specific language skills?
We work in an international environment – it is important to us that we can communicate well in both German and English internally. The specific language requirements are always listed in the individual job posting.
How flexible are your working models?
In many areas, we offer a hybrid working model – depending on the role and responsibilities, up to 60% remote work is possible. Fully remote roles are only available if explicitly stated in the job description.
For working students, on-site presence is generally required. If you have questions or special requests, feel free to reach out to us.
I’ve been rejected before – can I apply again?
Of course! A rejection does not mean it’s not a fit overall – sometimes it is just about timing or the right role. If you see a new opening that interests you, we would be happy to receive your application!
How do you handle my data?
Confidentially! Your application goes directly to our recruitment team and is handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Can I add documents later?
Yes, of course! As part of your application, you will receive login details for your applicant profile with us. There, you can update or modify your submitted documents at any time.
What is the interview process like?
The first interview is a relaxed, informal chat – on equal footing. We want to learn more about you, your experience, and your motivation. At the same time, you will have the chance to get to know us better.
Depending on the role and stage of the process, we will meet either digitally or in person at our office. And most importantly: ask us your questions too – the exchange should work for both sides. If you think of any important questions afterwards or if something changes on your end that affects the application process, we’d love to hear from you.

If the online interview goes well, we will invite you to meet us in person at our office.
Hiring
After a successful second interview, we will send you a draft contract. Once approved by the works council, we will be delighted to welcome you to ABO Energy.
