Engineer (m/f/d) Solar Design
Our Solar Engineering Department is providing engineering solutions for all the photovoltaic projects developed by the Company, covering the full design life-cycle – starting with the concept and ending with the as built documentation. The Department is split in Teams, where we combine the experience of the senior engineers with the desire to learn of the juniors – all this in a friendly environment, with people from different nations connected by the passion to design high quality pv projects. To further grow and strengthen our team in Nantes, France, we need more people like you.
Your passion
Conception and design of solar projects
- You design utility scale Solar projects, at a preliminary or detailed level, using industry-standard software
- You contribute to the choice of components
- You go on site to evaluate constraints
- You define bills of quantities for suppliers and draft scopes of work for subcontractors
- You provide expertise during project implementation remotely and if necessary, on site
- You ensure compliance with codes, norms, and regulations during project implementation
- You support the preparation of post-construction documentation
Accompaniment of solar planning project managers
- Technical analysis of complex sites
- Accompaniment in the redaction of impact studies
- Accompaniment in the production of building permits
Technical support for solar planning project manager
Your qualification
- You have a master’s degree in electrical engineering
- You have expertise in solar energy modelling programs such as PVSyst and design software (autocad, PV Case)
- You have expertise in GIS software (QGIS)
- You have a good understanding of electrical energetic systems connected to the grid
- You are rigorous and organized
- You speak French and English
