English speaking Civil CAD Technician/Draftsman (m/f/d) based in Medellin (freelance base or time restricted contract)

Our Civil Engineering Department is very international, with engineers and draftsmen from different countries. Experienced engineers work here in Medellin and at our headquarters in Germany as part of our team.

We collaborate on various projects and technologies to achieve the same goal, and we would be delighted if you joined our team!


Your passion

  • Creating various infrastructure drawings using AutoCAD (Version 2022, upcoming 2024) and Civil3D for permitting, construction, and documentation purposes in international renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery, hydrogen)
  • Calculating earthworks and creating cut-and-fill reports using Civil3D
  • Working with DGM models
  • Reviewing drawings
  • Coordinating with the Engineering and Development teams in Columbia and abroad


Your qualification

  • Expertise in using AutoCAD and Civil3D software (3 +years)
  • Knowledge and experience in designing infrastructure projects (roads, bridges and earthworks etc.) or renewable energy projects (solar or wind)
  • Knowledge in working with QGIS is desirable.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software
  • Good written and spoken English (Min. Level B2-C1) skills are essential; other languages are an asset
