Raja

Raja is a working student in our Hannover office. She works in project development for wind and solar projects and answers a few questions here about her experience.

What are you currently studying and what is your role at ABO Energy?

I’m studying Environmental and Regional Planning in a Master’s programme and working at ABO Energy as a working student in project development for wind and solar projects. I support the team with various tasks related to land acquisition and project planning.

What are your main responsibilities at ABO Energy?

My tasks are quite diverse. I help with land acquisition using GIS, create maps, run data queries, and also contribute to planning aspects like cable routes and access roads. I really get the full picture here. Even smaller tasks like handling post are part of it. What I especially appreciate is that, as working students, we’re actively involved in real projects – not just making coffee.

Which of ABO Energy’s five core values do you relate to most?

I feel most connected to the value of "Community", because even as a working student, I feel like a true part of the team. The daily collaboration and team events show me how important togetherness and support are at ABO Energy – it’s motivating and makes the work really enjoyable.

What advice would you give someone applying to ABO Energy as a working student?

Just be yourself and show genuine interest in what the company does. It’s appreciated when you’re motivated to get involved rather than just ticking off tasks. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or share your own ideas.
